Winnsboro High School has been recognized statewide by Texas Monthly magazine (December 2006) and now nationally by U.S. News & World Report (December 10, 2007) [click here, scroll down, and "Search by State"] as a Bronze Medal "Best High Schools 2008" across America (see badge at left).  This puts WHS in the top 6% of all high schools nationwide!!



Congratulations students, teachers, and administration for your hard work and achievement in being a TEA "Recognized' campus based on TAKS testing!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Red Raider Band on making it all the way to the Area Finals after receiving all 1's at the Regional Competition!!

They also recently received "Best in Class" and a "Superior" rating at the Winter Park Music Festival!!


CAREER SERVICES

Mrs. Carmen Clark, CIS Counselor, will be available Monday through Thursday at Winnsboro High School from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for students and parents who need information about career services.  This includes:  college entrance testing and requirements, financial aid, scholarships, goal setting, vocational training, and interest inventory.  You are encouraged to plan early for your student’s future. Call 903-342-3641 and set an appointment today.
